The campsite
Our small natural campsite with 23 pitches is an “Aire Naturelle”. The campsite is an excellent base for walking or cycling tours along the many places of interest. Due to the fact that Keraluic is only a few kilometres from the coast, it is also an extremely suitable place for sports enthusiasts to pitch their tents.
Gîtes
In our Chaumière (meaning “house with thatched roof”) there are three fully equipped studios with private terrace for two people on the ground floor and a very comfortable three-room gîte for 4 people on the first floor. And on the campsite there is a spacious cotton Bell tent with large covered outdoor kitchen for 4 people.
Surroundings
Unspoilt beaches, Cornouaille harbour towns with their lighthouses and fortified towns with sturdy defences. Beaches, villages, towns and countryside, beautiful landscapes inland and along the coast. There are so many different ways to discover Brittany. One thing is certain: at the end of the holiday, you won’t want to leave Brittany!
Walking/Cycling
On foot or by bike, at your own pace, alone or with a group. It’s all possible. Sometimes the routes are tough, but generally the coastal paths are fairly flat. Le Pays Bigouden, the southernmost tip of Finistère, Brittany, has 380 km of footpaths, 1 of which goes past our campsite. The walks and cycling routes will lead you through the wealth of nature and architecture, legends and historical facts of our region.
Surf
Near Keraluic is the Pointe de La Torche, or “Beg an Dorchenn” in Breton, which means “top of the hill”. Pointe de la Torche is a true paradise for surfers. Thanks to its location, there is no shortage of wind and good waves. The waves here can reach a height of three metres, just like a little further away in the Tronoën area. All the conditions are there for beginners and advanced surfers who want to perfect their surfing skills!
Sights
There really is plenty to visit here. Beautiful old towns like Pont Aven, where Gauguin lived and painted, with its museums and galleries. Quimper has one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the area. Concarneau, a beautiful fortified town with quaint little shops. Le Guilvinec, France’s main artisanal fishing port. Pont L’Abbé, beating heart and centre of Pays Bigouden. Too many to mention.

In short, we invite you to come over and discover the real Brittany in all its facets.
A bientôt, Coen & Tineke van Dorssen.
